Our cabins are situated in a higher part in the forest and can be reached via various paths from the valley. Upon arrival your host will bring you and your luggage to your cabin with an electric golf cart. If you have brought your own bikes, you can park them in the bicycle racks at the main parking lot at the entrance. But of course, you can also take them up to your cabin. Do mind that the way up can be pretty tough for your legs :)
Check-in is available between 15:00h and 19:00h, and between these hours your host, the team of domain Het Warredal, will be welcoming you at Het Warredal! We understand there’s a chance you could get stuck in a traffic jam, so in case you are delayed please give your host a call on +32 (0)89 85 23 16 to inform them of your new arrival time.
Check-out is possible between 9:00 and 10:30h on the day of your departure. In case of too much delay, an extra cost of €60 may be added to your bill. Should you wish to depart the day before, then that’s always an option. You do need to agree this with your hosts beforehand.
As soon as you arrive you’ll see a large parking area. As cars are not allowed on the domain itself, we ask you to park your car here. Don’t worry about your luggage, as soon as you arrive your hosts will take you and your luggage to your cabin with an electric golf cart.
To not disturb nature too much, we ask you to leave your car at the main parking area at the entrance.
Dogs are our best friends! You’re very much welcome to bring your dog. Per cabin we allow 1 dog of max. 20kg for a small daily fee. During the booking process you’ll have the option to inform us you’re bringing your pet. Please note that not all cabins are able to book with a dog; only the Classic and normal Tree Trunk cabins are suitable.
In the Nutchel Lodge you will find a few beautiful local (bio) products, where you can buy among others sweet and savory spreads, coffee, water, wine, and other basics. If you don’t find what you’re looking for, you always have the opportunity explore one of the nearby supermarkets.
It’s not allowed to place a tent near your cabin.
It is not possible to stay at Nutchel for only 1 night. We believe you live the real Nutchel experience when you stay a bit longer with us. You can book a weekend break (Friday to Monday), or a midweek (Monday to Friday) It is also possible to make a reservation for 2 or 3 night stays in the mid- and low season during the week. If you're interested in staying longer stays then please contact us to find out what the possibilities are.
There are currently 30 cosy cabins hiding in a lovely forest in the middle of nature.
For each booking, we charge an administrative cost of € 29.50. Tourist tax must be paid on arrival, the amount is calculated per person per day. Adults and children over 12 years are charged €2 per person per day, children below 12 years are not required to pay tourist tax.
Upon arrival you will find a few essentials in your cabin, such as cleaning products, a tea towel, some toilet paper, a trash bag, lighters, candles and some dried wood ready for use. The cabin contains a bathroom with warm water, a toilet with normal flush and a kitchen sink with cold water. The kitchen is fully equipped, including a Bialetti coffee maker for those early mornings. Every mattress is covered by a protective cover, which we kindly ask you not to remove. If you have booked a baby chair or cot, then these will be present in your cosy cabin. And if you made a reservation to bring your dog with you, then a little dog bed or blanket will be present in your cabin.
There’s no need to bring your own bed linens. Your beds will be made with soft and fresh bed linens. Each person will be given a sheet and duvet cover for a single bed plus a pillowcase. You will need to bring your own bedlinen for children under two years if you are bringing your own travel cot.
If you’re staying in the Tree Trunk, Tree Trunk with hot tub, or the Tree Top cabins then towels will be included in your stay. If you’re staying in other cabins you can choose to either bring your own towels, or you can book our soft and thick towels by adding them to your reservation.
Every cabin is equipped with a Bialetti coffee maker. Just don’t forget to bring your coffee!
Sure thing! Every cabin has a bathroom with a warm shower and a sink with cold water. The kitchen also has a sink with cold water.
We’ve opted for a more ecological solution and offer a cooler chest in the cabin in which you can put freezer packs (which we provide).
Nope, niente, nada! Wi-Fi is not available in the cabins. However, if you do need to go online, then you can always go to the Cosy Tipi where Wi-Fi is available.
A lovely breakfast basket is offered to you, only the first morning of your stay if you stay with us 3 or 4 nights and are arriving on Friday or Monday.

In summertime every Wednesday and Saturday a BBQ is organised in the Cosy Tipi*. We really recommend to sign up for it! Kids can play in the nerarby area and you have the opportunity to connect with other Nutchel guests. You have the option to book the barbecue during the reservation process, but you also have the opportunity to book it with your hosts upon arrival.
*In case of a low amount of barbecue bookings and during wintertime we will deliver a delicious barbecue pack to your cabin, so you can show off your barbecue skills to your friends and family! In this case a discount of €4 per person will be applied.
There is! But every cabin only has 1 electricity plug.
We won’t ask you to clean your cabin, but please leave your cabin in the same state as you’ve found it. If you can take off the bedlinens and gather them in the living area that would be very helpful! Also put items back where they belong and don’t leave dirty dishes. The freezer packs need to be returned, and garbage can be disposed in the garbage bins near the reception area. Try not to leave any garbage outside of your cabin as this will attract birds and other animals. When you leave your cabin, please close the windows and don’t forget to drop your key off at the reception.
